With a bachelor's degree in Marketing from the University of Cincinnati and proud membership in Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., I bring a wealth of knowledge and creativity to every project.

Raven was very quick to respond to my initial inquiry and answered all the questions I had. I was pleased to know she had different options to work with different people’s budgets! Raven got quick to work on designing a color palette and sent mocks up to make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted. The day of the party she arrived with plenty of time to set up and did not leave until she knew we were satisfied. Sure, you can go anywhere and find a simple balloon arch kit, but I never could have executed an elaborate design with the perfect colors as well as Raven could. I did not have to blow up 1 balloon or even think about how I was going to set it up. It stayed up perfectly for more than 2 weeks even with my daughter pulling on some of the balloons. Supporting small business is very important to me and I would definitely use Material Gurl Decor again!

    If you are debating a DIY balloon garland and hiring it out, consider her “grab and go” garlands. She will deliver for a nominal charge as well. I didn’t need a full out display (which I am confident she would have excelled at as well). I got her quote and even though I had already bought a ballon garland kit with balloons for $45-50, once she followed up even after I thought I’d missed the deadline, I decided to hire her! The colors were spot on what I was looking for and the directions were simple. I still inflated the balloons I had and used them around the room as extra decor but by the time I was half way through the balloons, I was beyond glad I didn’t have to do the garland. I will definitely use her again for any event I need a balloon garland!
